CEO Prof. Ramneek Ahluwalia Champions Gender Transformative Education at UN Conference
We’re thrilled to share that our CEO, Prof Ramneek Ahluwalia, participated in the 2023 Feminist Network for Gender Transformative Education (GTE), co-hosted by UNGEI, UNICEF, and UN Women. This significant event took place in Istanbul, Turkey from 2-3 November 2023.
This annual event brought together civil society organisations, international and national NGOs, young feminist activists, academics, government representatives and multilateral partnerships and funds to inspire, elevate and advance gender equality in and through education.
Prof Ahluwalia’s presence underscored Higher Health’s commitment to advancing this vital cause.
Furthermore, our CEO, Prof Ramneek Ahluwalia, had the incredible privilege to address and chair a high-level panel on Gender Transformative Education at the United Nations during the ongoing Gender Transformative Education (GTE) Conference, co-hosted by UNGEI, UNICEF, and UN Women.
A Global Gathering: With the participation of over 100 countries, ministers, government officials, civil societies, policy makers, activists, and stakeholders, this conference serves as a vital platform to champion and advance #gendereducation, #genderdiversity, and #GenderEquality within education systems.
