Last night, we basked in the glow of celebration as we acknowledged and celebrated the remarkable Higher Health’s Peer Educators of Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) at the Waterfront Hotel School, Cape Town.
Their dedication and unwavering commitment to fostering change on Campuses deserve nothing less than our highest praise. It was a night filled with joy and camaraderie, a true testament to the spirit of Ubuntu that binds us all.
The official welcoming was gracefully led by Ms. Melanie Swanson, the HOD of the HIV/AIDS Unit at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. With her guidance, the stage was set for a night that would shine a spotlight on the exceptional efforts and dedication of our Peer Educators.
And yes, monetary awards were bestowed upon these incredible students, recognizing their exceptional contributions. But the true reward lies in the positive impact they’ve had on their fellow students and our collective journey toward a healthier, more enlightened Campus society.
Let’s continue to celebrate these shining stars, for they remind us that change begins with individuals who dare to stand up and be counted.
