Siphesihle holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, as well as Honors degrees in both General Psychology and Industrial Psychology, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, all obtained from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
He is skilled in employing various therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, person-centred therapy, and interpersonal group therapy. He utilizes these approaches to treat a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, addiction, grief and bereavement, stress, relationship difficulties, psychosocial issues, and other psychological concerns.
Siphesihle has previously worked for the government’s Department of Health at Helen Joseph Hospital, the Child and Family Centre, Alexandra High School, and the private rehabilitation facility Houghton House. Currently, he serves as a Senior Psychologist at HIGHER HEALTH, where he manages Psychologists and Registered Counsellors and leads the Psychosocial Support Services.
