A survey conducted by Higher Health among students at TVET colleges further elucidates the issue, indicating that 32% of students have experienced pregnancy or have impregnated someone, with a staggering 75% of these pregnancies being unplanned. These unplanned pregnancies pose significant challenges to students, potentially derailing their educational pursuits and limiting their future opportunities.

To address this pressing issue, it is imperative that every woman student has convenient access to a range of contraceptive options. Providing comprehensive contraceptive services not only empowers students to make informed choices about their reproductive health but also helps prevent unintended pregnancies, allowing them to focus on their academic goals without interruption.
