Yesterday was a truly momentous occasion at Higher Health Head Office, Pretoria, as we welcomed a distinguished delegation from UNESCO headquarters, led by the brilliant Director for Policies and Lifelong Learning Systems, Mr. Borhene Chakroun, along with his team from UNESCO headquarters, Paris and the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa.
We were honoured to have our CEO, Ramneek Ahluwalia, present Mr. Chakroun with Nelson Mandela’s iconic ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ autobiography, symbolizing our commitment to the values of freedom and education.
Additionally, we were equally delighted that the amazing Nicolas Albouze and his team from Anthology Inc. could also join us to ensure we work together to promote #sustainabledevelopmentgoals of United Nations and how our #civiceducation and #softskills programme serves as one of the tools to build the next generation of #teachers and #youth towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
